| Description | Fragmentary bucchero cup with a shallow bowl on a low conical foot. The juncture of the cup-base and the curving side walls is articulated on the exterior by a ridge. The side walls are fluted. The handle is the vertical strap variety, undecorated. The interior section is attached below to the rim while the exterior part is attached just above the juncture of the cup-base and the side walls. The apex of the loop is surmounted by a finial in the form of a center stem volute. A horizontal tube serves as a connecting bar between the two handle sections and is located at the rim. |
