Note Fig. 31. A large 2011 looters’ pit in Operation 209 resulted in significant damage to architecture. The upper part of the wall on the left of the doorway at center was completely destroyed, with corresponding damage to the upper part of the higher section of wall on the right. The pit also damaged a wall belonging to a second structure at far left, in the south profile of the unit.
