| Description | The fragment preserves portions of the cover tile at the point it attaches to an antefix. The fragment preserves a curved, finished face, the reverse side of which varies greatly in thickness. This reverse, unfinished side preserves portions of excess clay that have been added manually to affix the cover tile to the antefix. Slight finger impressions are visible in this excess fabric from its application. |
