Description Lug-shaped fragment, apparently an ornament broken from a bucchero vessel, preserving a daedalic type female head, with nearly triangular face; hair at the top of the head and the longer strands at the sides of the face has vertical striations; long horizontal band across the forehead; features are almond eyes, long somewhat triangular nose and mouth of two ridges set deeply just above the heavy chin. A necklace or collar of three shallow inverted triangles is placed just below the chin. The right side of the face preserves a finished rounded edge; the left side is broken just where another projection begins. The back of the head is smooth.
