Plinth is thin rectangle with longitudinal deep smooth groove set 0.003 m from right side, with circular hole set into it approximately 0.012 m from front edge - hole does not continue to top of object. Statuette has bean-shaped body, slightly thicker than 19710280 and same smooth flat sided folded legs, up-curled wings and head as other sphinx, fore-paws seem slightly shorter than on 19710280 and elaborated surface, e.g. the diagonal grooved of wings and hair have more grooves etc. and are less flat than on 19710280. Face has same carved pattern, but is more delicately executed than in 19710280 - eyes, while large, are not so large and high, and mouth, while less finely carved, is thinner with deeper grooves; nose of 19710198 is broken of on tip. The longitudinal plinth groove of 19710198 is on opposite side from that of 19710280 and tail grooves of 19710198 are off-center to the left and much less symmetrical.
