|Title||Worked Section of Antler|
|Photo Type||Cataloged Artifact|
|Description||A section of antler, cut across the grain and smoothed on both ends. The cuts are not parallel, one section is roughly four sided, the other irregular. Two of the sides show evidence of working, perhaps initial stages of bevelling. The third side appears broken and the fourth unaltered. The piece is blackened by buring over most of the area.|

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
