Most of the rocks of the feature in locus 3 were removed and pickpasses were made in both locus 2 and locus 3 . The soil of locus 3 is brown and drier than the very dark brown claylike soil of locus 2 . A fragment of a frieze plaque was found inbetween the rocks of the locus 3 rock feature.

Pickpasses and baulk-walling in locus 2 and 3 . There were some light rain but not enough to end work. The soil in both locus 2 and locus 3 is turning increasingly claylike and blueish in color. After some pickpassing and baulkwalling locus 4 was declared. It covers the area of both locus 2 and locus 3 .
