Section A & B

The tree was cut duwn and the tile layer removed in all of Section B which is now finished, and in most of section A except for the area immediately flanking the eastern NS wall. 18 boxes of tiles. Found:

1 statue frags

2 bronze handle - round in section with striations (sect b)

3 terracotta egg (sect b)

4 bent flat strip of bronze with a hole in one end (sect a)

5 usual pottery


Topsoil contd to be removed - 2 boxes of tiles
