DAILY LOG ENTRY FOR THURSDAY, 30 JULY 2009:
MORNING:
Continued trimming N & N corners of the W & E baulks in preparation for the stratigraphic section. Defined stratigraphic layers w/ nails & string in preparation for rendering the section via photo & CAD.
Jon Lannan arrived on site & took photos of the N baulk so he could render a stratigraphic section w/ CAD. No other baulks were sectioned because they all contain large amounts of backfill.
AFTERNOON:
Continued trimming other baulks, especially the W baulk in the area of the rock fill, in preparation for closing photos. Two rocks just NW of the center of the S half of the trench were lifted because they were loose. Lifting them exposed a void in the soil & additional rocks w/ voids & air pockets in between them.

Baulk Trim: 1/5 bowl Terracotta
1/5 Latte Box Ceramic
3 pcs. Bone
T-56 - Backfill Void
