Correction for Height in 2014

Correction for Height in 2014

There was an error in setting the Data points in 2014. All of them were found to be 2.04 meters higher than what they actually are in relation to the origin point. On July 28, 2007 John Lannon checked the origin height. It was at 28.73 mAE. This was found by setting the transit up on the Medieval Road south of the origin (PC1). Using the scope it was found to be 1.33 m higher than the origin and therefore at 30.06 mAE. It was front sited to a nail in the road at 13E, 25S. This nail was found to be 2.05 m below the transit height and so at 28.01 mAE. The transit was moved down the road to a bend where Tesoro west and the nail both can be seen. The scope was found to be 0.8 m above the nail and so at a height of 28.81 mAE. It was front sited to the nail at 74E, 37S and the nail was 1.92 m below the scope at 26.89 mAE. From here the transit was moved to the middle of Tesoro west and the scope was now 2.05 m above 74E, 37S at 28.94 mAE. The two nails from last year that were reused at elevation data were T-57 and T-62's nails. In 2015 T-57's elevation datum was 1.16 m below the scope at 27.78 mAE. In 2014, T-57's datum nail was said to be at 29.82 mAE, a difference of 2.04 meters. In 2015 T-62's elevation datum was 2.95 m below the scope at 25.99 mAE. In 2014, T-62's elevation datum was 28.03 mAE a difference of 2.04 meters. Therefore all points are 2.04 meters higher than in actual relation to the origin point.
