Vitrified/Burned Material

As was the case last year, numerous small and medium sized bags of vitrified material were also recovered in CA33 in 1991.  The majority of this material appears to consist of small chunks of vitrified tile.  The greatest concentration of vitrified material was discovered in the stone concentration, especially in the eastern half of meters I/13-14 and in meters J/13-14.  Quantities of vitrified material were also found in meters H/14-15 and, to a lesser extent, in meters J-K/11-12.
