Topsoil was taken off. About 6 boxes of tiles were dumped. In the topsoil was found a tubular piece which might be part of a horse's (?) leg. a few pieces of cornice and horserace frieze. Also a foot, which either is very worn or is smaller than the feet found previously. The trench was extended towards the agger, and measures 10.40 m N-S and 12.80 m E-W. Small fr. of r. edge of lateral section of sima, preserves scar for head and of 4 stregils.
grid F7) there seemed to be a concentration of terracotta material and a few pieces of frieze (horse-race and banquet) were excavated in the second layer. An almost complete circumference of a pithos rim was excavated in grid I 5-6.
