T-53 recovered a reasonably low amount of bone, especially compared to the amount of tile, pottery, and metal, with some loci containing no bone at all. The majority of bones appear to be sheep, however some cinghiale teeth were also found.
Locus 4 produced very little bone, but did contain a piece of cut bone (pg 40, 20090043). Locus 6, mottled soil, produced the majority of bone and when combined with its equivalent, Locus 9, a striking amount including a perforated bone disc (pg 53, 20090054).
