The first cut was continued southward through meter "J."  Following this, a second cut, c. 20cm. deep was begun in "A."  The tile packing encountered in "B" was cleaned and appears to be a tile fall.  The stump in grids D-E was left in place until the surrounding area can be lowered.  An attempt was made to follow the second cut at the same depth in meters F-J, but consistent contact with tile at c. 10cm. depth prevented this and suggests that the tile fall may extend back into this region also.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
