Work continued in meters K-L-M/72 and M/71 to a depth of 135-140 cm. The area of M/71 and M/72 as well as a portion of L/72 appear olive brown with flecks of lime and is devoid of material. The northern portion of L/72 and all of K/72 is comprised of an orangy brown soil with plaster inclusions.
Pottery and tile is still found within this soil (2 latte boxes of pottery and 1/8 cassete of tile). As the baulk through this meter is better established, it will be described.
While the baulk of K-L-M/72 has not yet been fully defined, it is clear that the medium brown soil with plaster inclusions follows a depression, possibly running parallel to the line of the southeast building. This depression or channel will be better defined tomorrow.
