Trench Layout

Trench Layout.

CB 54 was laid out using triangulation. A straight line was made with a tape between two nails previously placed by the site architect (50E, 49S and 55E, 49S), a nail was placed 4 meters east of 50E, 49S at 54E, 49S. Using this new line, 2 more points were placed through triangulation at 54E, 52S and 50E, 52S. These points were used to create straight lines and extend the southern baulk wall by 1 meter. The Coordinates of the trench, CB 54, are:

NW- 50E, 49S

NE- 54E, 49S

SE- 54E, 53S

SW- 50E, 53S.
