STRATEGY: Continue removing 2012 as a general spit across trench 446N, 596E. Remove deposit to west of wall f250 as lot 2015.

SUMMARY: Removal of lot 2012 in the northwestern area of trench 446N, 596E revealed the upper, smaller stone foundations of f250. A pot disc made from a painted Halaf sherd was discovered standing vertically against the eastern edge of those stones (location 449.70N, 596.06E) at a height of 94.76m. It was recorded as sf2. It is possible that the upper, smaller stone foundations are a repair or modification made to the larger, lower stone foundations of wall f250. Removal of lot 2015 revealed the western edge of wall f250. It is possible that the wall ends at to large stones approximately 0.5m to the north of f227/f270, 2015 had a significant amount of bone within it, including large bones which might be cow bones.
