The winter erosion in T23:1979 Extentions (meters C-CC, 14-16) was cleaned along the west, south, and east walls. Along the north there is a "step" of approximately 20 cm. above the floor level of the trench and a 10 cm. section (moving north) was taken from this. This "step" contains tile and stone. It should be noted that pithos fragments were found in various parts of the trench.
This trench is being cleaned in order that it may be photographed and drawn.
