In the morning three workmen continued excavating the top of the Agger, grids K-N 1-3. Here the large rocks are located 20-100 cm, below topsoil, lying in heavy concentration at the top of the Agger. Here there are alos a few scattered, heavily worn tile fragments, including a piece of frieze placque, and two small pieces of wall plaster. Two other workmen excavated in grids L-M-N 6-8. Here the chipped rocks are somewhat smaller, but equally concentrated. A few shards of fine ware, possibly joining the oinochoe fragments found yesterday, were found here in grid M-7.
