Straightened the lip between CB54 and CB57. Also worked on straightening the lip between CB55 and CB57. Did a pick pass that revealed a darker soil. After a complete pick pass it was seen that the darker brown soil is in the entire trench. There are some rocks in the NW part of the trench. Material, terracotta and pottery, is still being recovered but is much smaller than previously found. Started to clip roots and clean up the trench in preparation of declaring a new locus. Worked on the baulk wall till lunch.
Levelled high points, worked on baulk wall, clipped roots, and scraped the trench to prepare to declare a new locus. Straightened the lip between CB56 and CB57.
