July 4, 1972

Three men finished clearing T-19 E-F/51-52 and moved to the area directly west of the foundations and wall, T-19 E-F/47-48, leaving the soil above the rocks in T-19 E-F/49-50.  They first cleared down approximately 15 cm.  This area produced 1/3 cassette of tiles (discarded) and 1/2 cassette of pottery, mostly impasto.  The brown soil here contains small, chipped stones.
