T-57 was extended to include the datum tree South of original trench, this was done to remove as much top soil as possible from the linear rock packing. This roughly 1 x 1/2 meter section of top soil will be declared locus 17 . Also while this area is cleared and lowered the linear rock packing in the eastern half of the trench will be further defined and cleaned. This section of the packing will be declared locus 18 . There is a small square south of the linear rock packing that is left over from the error in surveying in 2014 and the placement of the 2015 trenches, this area will be excavated as locus 19 . It is an south of the rock packing and mostly devoid of rocks.

A pick pass was done in locus 17 . It is a brown crumbly soil with lots of roots from the tree and other organics. Some stones are found in between the roots. There is very little tile being found. A hand pick and trowels are being used in locus 19 . The soil is a brown crumbly soil not unlike the lower parts of locus 16 outside of the rock packing there.

A pick pass was done in locus 17 . Roots and rocks were defined. The roots have disturbed the stones greatly. The soil remains a dark brown with lots of organics. Locus 19 was troweled down and removed from the
trench. The roots have disturbed the western part of the locus and the flakey soil underlying locus 19 slopes up in that section. Locus 19 will be closed. Closing elevations were taken. Due to shadows closing photos will be taken in the morning.

Locus 18 was picked with a hand pick and rocks were defined moving from east to west. The soil is a flakey galestra like soil. A few rocks came loose and were removed. More stones were found underneath. The northern side of locus 18 was cleared and cut back since this was not done in 2014. While cleaning the side, a tibia bone was found pushed against the rock packing (SF #1).
