Excavation sontinued in Agger 10.  In the morning the rocks lying in grids K-N 0-1 and A-B were cleared, drawn, and photographed (see sketch and photographs ).  Although these stones form a distinct N-S line between grids 0 and 1, further to the west they appear more scattered.  Hence, it seems that they probably belong to the fossa capping.  In the profile it can be seen that they slope downward towards the west.

Two workmen excavated in grids K-N 1-4 up to the N-5 line of rocks to determine the depth.  Three other workmen began excavating a deeper level at the eastern end of the trench, grids K-N  \'blank\'-8.

In the afternoon excavation continued at the eastern end of the trench with two workmen each digging a meter-wide strip to the west.  This stratum is below the level of topsoil at the eastern end of the trench.  It contains a few chipped rocks, tile fragments, impasto shards, and bronze lumps.  The bronze continues to be concentrated in and around grid N-2.  A few pieces of slag were also found in this area.

Two other workmen continued digging near the N-5 line of the fossa rocks in a simmilar stratum.
