Photographs taken. A new cut was started- D 1-4. Str. A was lifted.
Str. D consists again of a hard reddish soil. The profile of the cut shows that this str. is even throughout the cut, except for the pocket of carbon which indicates the continuation of the deposit uncovered the day before.
The concentration of nails and tacks in Grid D 4 was noticible. The nails and tacks are- except for the very short ones- bent.
