The soil this morning was still damp, but since no material has been found in a while it was decided to continue excavation. Defining of the rocks in Locus 7 was done to better expose them and level the area. Once relatively level and the rock sufficiently exposed they were photographed and then removed. The soil is still a sandy, olive / yellow soil but it is now a bit sticky due to the weather. Still no material has been found. The trench was then leveled in Locus 7 in order to better define the bedrock and expose the soil. Once leveled it was apparent that there were no other rock grouping present in the soil, all that remains are the large sheet of bedrock in the NW corner which extends about 2 meters into the trench and another large slab in the SW corner of Locus 7 . It was decided to then level the trench and baulk wall in preparation for final photos. The soil remains a sandy, loose, olive / yellow soil that yields no terra cotta or pottery.

Baulk walling and leveling continued throughout Locus 7 . Simultaneously, baulk walling in Locus 3 began. A few pieces of pottery were found during the baulking of that Locus. The soil is a darker, greyer, clay-like soil. Roots were also clipped throughout the trench.

Closing elevations and photographs were taken for Locus 3 , Locus 7 , and the trench. Terra cotta and pottery were counted.
