Meters EE,FF,GG-12 were taken to 40cm completely with pick and shovel and inspection of the soil in the wheelbarrow. GG-12 was excavated only as far south as the large stump complex in this meter (~80cm of the meter from northern edge to south).
A new cut was then made in these meters to bring the floor level to 80cm.
The following items should be noted:
1) A number of large stones (~30cm x 40cm) were found at 60-80cm in EE/FF-12. These stones may be related to those found in EE-11 at 80cm-1.0m ( pg. 275 ) and those found in FF-11 at 60-80cm ( pg.195 ). HOwever, as in the cses of the previous two stone concentrations, no pattern was discerned in this stone concentration, nor did thise stones appear to be part
of a wall, as they did not continue in any direction. Thus these stones were lifted.
2) Though the stratigraphy was not carefully monitored due to the greater need to search for ivory fragments, it appeared to correspond to that already encountered in T23-1980 Extension.
3) The tile dump was begun to be buried.
