June 9, 1976

Work continued cleaning the humus (dark brown layer) from grids N-P 32-33 and then grids N-P 34-35.

At the same time work began in the yellow soil layer of grids N-P 32-33.

In the yellow soil layer a heavy tile fall was encountered (same tile fall as mentioned by Neils (JN I) .

In grids N-34-35 a top section of pithos, top downwards, was encountered in the yellow soil layer, along with a more numerous amount of pottery.

The pithos was left in situ until the next day.

Two casette of tile were dumped.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
