Continued trimming baulk in Y-alpha/13 and Y-alpha/19.  A heavy concentration of stones in meters Y-alpha/19 was discovered in the process of cleaning up wash out and trimming the baulk.  The stones were defined and left in place.  The soil throughout the stone concentration was a light brown color.  In several places hollows could seen beneath stones.  Completed work on the baulk in meters Y-alpha/13.  1/2 cassetta of tile and 1/2 latte box of pottery and bone fragments were recovered, as well as two fragments of shell.  A portion of pithos was found on the trench floor.

A discrepancy in teh trench meters has been noted, the north baulk of the trench (meters 13-19) is actually 7.6 m. long.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
