Locus 12 was established today.  It consists of the terracotta concentration that appears immediately east of what appears to be the remains of a stone wall.

Photographs were taken and excavation of locus 12 was begun.  Approximately 1 can of terracotta fragments recovered, which included more than 1/2 dozen dolium fragments.  Approximately 1 1/2 latte boxes of pottery sherds found along with some bone fragments.  A dolium rim fragment, and 2 pantile fragments were saved.
