The excavation of T-52 will be carried out as follows: The soil will be picked using the pointed end of a pick-axe. Following this the soil will be sorted by hand into buckets which will be dumped using a wheelbarrow. The soil will be sorted by hand and with a trowels. Should there prove to be a large amount of material, the soil will be troweled through rather than picked over. Material from T-52 will be dealt with depending on its type. Terracotta will be removed, counted and discarded. Bone and pottery will be collected in separate Latte boxes and taken down to the Magazine for dry brushing, sorting, bagging and repatriation. Any finds deemed special will be measured from the northern and eastern meter lines and from the datum using the metric system. They will then be sent down to the magazine to be cleaned and catalogued.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
