Work continued in Trench 19 grids J-M/31-32, the area in teh north etension of T-19 (see AB I, p. 130-131 , 140-141 , 143-144 , 151-152 , 156-158 , 164 , 177-178 ). Four men cleared down through the darkish brown layer and into the lighter yellowish brown ( see profile on p. 112 ). The stones in the southern area of the trench are possibly the other edge of the pavement (?) found in T-18. The N-S wall consists of heavy stones and pieces of terracotta and lies 80 cm below topsoil.
