Work continued on cuts 2 and 3.  On cut 3 we are still removing the earth fill and the top of the dark brown layer.  In cut 2 we are cleaning down the middle room of the northern extension and continuing on the yellow earth stratum outside the eastern wall of the middle room.

The heavy concentration of coarse pottery in grids L 35-36 (including also 2 large sections of finer ware) was lifted.
