Began a cut in the remaining portion of Y-Z/17 moving west, at a depth of 145 cm. b.d.  The soil was consistantly yellowish brown.  Meters Y-Z/17-16 and Y/15 were removed.  Dark brown soil with plaster and carbon inclusions was discovered in the south-west corner of Z/16.   The western half of Y/15 was also darker brown soil with carbon and plaster inclusions.  This meter was cut out  unevenly and therefore the level varies between 140-145 cm. b.d.  20 fragments of tile and plaster were removed with 3/4 latte box of pottery and bone fragments, most of them coming from the areas of darker soil.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
