Morning began by getting the coordinates for the trench by using the transit.  The trench is slightly askew of the Master grid:

While we were working with the transit, the Northern part of the trench was being pick-axed to the same level to the Southern half of the trench.  One stump (b, page 9) was removed and 2/3 of another (d, page 9) was removed.

As the soil was pick-axed and sifted in the Northern half, it was noted that the soil was the same color (yellowish).  However it was less moist as we went down.  There were patches of white, grey, and orange; though these patches appear to be geological discolorations.

We have not found any pottery, bone, or terracotta in the Northern half.

In the NW corner, it is 93 cm.  22.51 m A.E.

There was a baulk trim special find, found in the tree stump (stump d, page 9).

We are not working in the Southern half of the trench until furthern notice.

We are continuing the morning work of levelling the Northern trench.  Some medium-sized rocks were discovered in the center of the Northern half.

Not much pottery and terracotta has been found (also bone) in the PM.
