The cut in meters L(M)/67-68 was completed to a depth of 116 cm bd. The soil remained the same mixed matrix normally found in the plaster layer and the area in M/68 continued to exhibit more burn than the rest of the area. 1/2 latte box of pottery and approx 1/2 cassette of tile were recovered from the completion of the cut. Several pieces of carved ivory were the only finds of the morning. A cut was begun in meters K/67-68. The rocks were removed and the first cut through the grey-yellow layer to 78 bd was completed. There were only a few pieces of pottery and pithos from this layer.

A 2nd cut was taken in K/67-68 to a depth of 84 cm bd. The soil remains yellow-grey, though a greater amount of pottery and bone was recovered ie 1 box. The topsoil in K-L(M)/65 was removed to a depth of 50 cm bd. Appprx 1/2 a cassette of tile was recovered and 1/3 of pottery. The soil was rooty and an olive brown colour. There were no finds.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
