Ivory fragments increased in quantities. They are all burnt to a bluish color and are extremely fragile. Only a few of the "triangles" preserve a white on black color and thereby a more solid texture.
In excavating str. D it became apparent that the soil is heavily burnt, especially in the area close to the mud wall. It is bright red and very hard compared to the equivalent layers in R7.
