Work continued cleaning the floor. Three areas included newly excavated soil. The area to the south east of the unfired covertiles -x-y/76-77 - continued to produce quite good floor, some of it showing blackening. In z 76-75 there was a distinetwe falling off of the floor but with what looks like floor or plaster of the bottm. Several fragments of tile and small pieces of plaster were found, one of which was burned. A couple of ceramic fragments were also found.

uv/84 floor was excavated southwards. Here good floor was found outside the southernmost line of bases. The soil was grey brown in the unexcavated area with small piees of tilea and plaster. One redware handle was found here.Notably a number of fragments of sima and possible sima were found here. They were lying directly on the floor with dirt around them.

In op/91-92 excavation continued exposing the floor. The floor was not particularly well preserved here but definitely recognizable.

A small amount of work was done in T 26 east. The cut in 86-90 continued to be dropped to 50-60 cm. Very little material came form the "dump" soil in these meters except in J/84 a large fragment of burned wood was found and shall be cleaned, a sample taken and the rest PVA'd and brought down. In 90-92 any remaining tiles and visible rocks were cleaned down with one cassetta of tile and plaster mixec (60%, 40% respectively) removed.

More work was also done clearing floor in M/85-86 and only a few fragments of plaster and ceramic were removed from each area.
