Agger 3 and 4

The wall of the rectangular bulding was cleaned further, revealing the thickness of the E wall to be about 140cm.

Agger 5

An attempt was made to find the continuation of the E wall of the S structure in Agger 4. Digging produced a SE corner of the S end of the

trench with the following app. dimensions: length of E wall (agger 4+5) 7.75m; thickness 1.70m; jgap door running from 3.15 to 4.50 m along the north to south line of the wall, or app in the center of the wall.

Agger 6

Three walls were cleared . the north and south walls of the rectangular building in Agg 3+4 and the north wall of the second building at the southern adn of Ag4. Thsi last wall turned south at its western end after running a distance of 8.10m and showed absolutely no connection with the building north of it. The walls of the northern building each scan out to about 8m under tha agger stones and the runed in toward each others. But the mixture of agger and wall stones at this point made it impossible to separate the two, and the exact size and position of hte western wall of the building remained unclear. Nor could it be ascertained whether any sort of  wall joined the northern building to the structures in Ag2, though thry seem to be aligned. Rough

dimensions for the northern building: 9.20 EW x 6.85 m NS; for the southern one (Agg 4+5), whose south and east walls are yet uncovered, 8.10 m EW x 7.75m NS.
