Daily Log

June 30, 1987

A.M.

Excavation began in LM/78-81 with dental picks and brushes to continue the work of the past two days.

The fourth cut in MNO/72-77 was also begun (ca.70-75 cm).  In NO/72-73, fragments of bucchero were found, along iwth flakes of bronze and a bronze bead.  Very few tile fragments or plaster fragments were uncovered.  Other pottery fragments included redware and impasto.  An ivory flake was found in a dirt clump in the wheelbarrow from N/73-75.

In LM/78-81, no complete ivories were recovered.  FLakes of bronze continued to appear along with a few tile fragments and assoted pottery.
