Completed two pick passes before lunch. Uncovered terracotta and pottery. Some of the pieces of terracotta are not as worn as the terracotta that was previously recovered. The soil is becoming chalkier and lighter. There were rocks in the SE corner and they have become more spread out through the trench. Fragments of charcoal were found in the NE part of the trench. The soil has become progressively lighter with a loos rock packing in the center. Clipped roots and scraped the trench down to look for more soil changes. Found a small bronze fragment in the SW corner.

Scraped the trench to look for soil changes. Discovered darker soil in the SW corner and along the southern baulk wall. Did four pick passes to get through it and make it level with the rest of the trench.
