Morning:

The trench floor in meters F-H/10 began to be cleared down with mestaline and brushes.  The soil in this area was grey-brown in color and contained sporadic concentrations of carbon.  One quarter of a bag of slag, including several large pieces, was found during clearing.  One and a half boxes of pottery, including mand burned piece and one quarter of a cassetta of tile were also found.  Additionaly, one quarter of a box of bone was discovered.

Due to a lack of time, excavation of T-17 was discontinued for the 1992 season.  All of the pottery recovered during the cleanup of the trench will be left out for further study.
