27/7/14 AM In order to more fully understand the linear rocks from locus 9 into the main trench we will extend T-57 2 meters to the west. A 2x2 extension was laid out with triangulation. The trees and floral litter was cleared. Locus 13 was declared over the entire extension. Opening photos, elevations and a sketch was made. We will wait to excavate the extension till the floor of locus 12 in the extension has been scraped and leveled.

A pick pass was done in locus 12 . Several rocks were uncovered and defined in the southern half of the locus. Soil was sorted and sieved. The floor was scraped.

Another pick pass was done in the northern half of the locus. While cleaning a fragment of vitrified plaster (SF #1) and a diagnostic bone was found (SF #2).
