Work continued in Trenches 18 and 19, the north extensions.

T-19 J-M/36:

Extension to the east of this trench into grids J-M/36 was continued.  Topsoil was removed, producing one cassette of tiles (discarded) and one strawberry box of pottery - mostly coarseware with a few bucchero sherds.  Then the brown soil stratum was cleaned down to the level of the fallen pithos.  The E-W stone foundation at the south end of this trench also appears in J/36.

T-18 J-K/28-30:

The brown soil at the level of the bucchero and slightly below was cleared today at the south half of the trench.
