Left from last year's work were about 8 sheets of pottery believed to have come from T-23 1980 cut #3.  Included with this pottery was a good quantity (~2 sheets) of bone.  The pottery was typical to what was excavated in T-23 1980 Extension at the Cut #3 level and there were not unusual or outstanding fragments.  The bone was inspected for traces of "worked" areas, though none were found.  Thus, this pottery and bone shall be discarded with other T-23 1980 Extension pottery discards in the bottom of T-23 1979 Extension North.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
