Civitate B15A

In the eastern end of the trench a concentration of rocks was found.  To ascertain their extent the trench was

increased 2.0m in width for 7.50m along its length from the east end (Civ. B15B).  Half a box of sherds and some tiles (one 0.30m long) were found.  The rest of the trench (B15A) was taken down 0.50-0.60m to galestra or bedrock.
