Work began on trimming the western baulk wall. Work also continued in Locus 9. Some slag was recovered from the feature.

Work continued in the feature that is Locus 9. Two tiny (c. 1cm) pieces of terracotta were recovered. A concentration of charcoal fragments were also present in the soil. It was decided owing to some rocks and a yellowish soil at its base to discontinue excavation in Locus 9.
