Cleaning began this morning across the entire trench in preparation for closing photos and final photos. Brushes and trowels were used to loosen and collect loose soil. In the course of this cleaning a piece of bronze was found in Locus 7 along the edge of the section cut along the eastern edge.

Cleaning reopened this afternoon. A pickaxe was also used to level the reaming surface of Locus 7 , as well as expose the remaining surface of Locus 4 above the level of Locus 7 . This activity was confined to the western 2m of Locus 7 .

Work this concluded in VT11 for 2016!
