Defined baulk at meter line G-H/48.  In the process a fragment of ionic pottery (find number 1) was found.  Removed tile in G-I/45-43 producing 1 1/2 cassette of tile.  Straightened baulk in G/43.  Continued cut in meters H-I/45-43 to a depth of approximately 75-80 cm.  174 cassette of tile and 1 172 latte boxes of pottery and large bone fragments were removed from this area.

Continued cut in H-I/42-43 to approximately 75-80 cm.  Soil remained dark brown and sandy with carbon inclusions, from these meters we had 174 cassetta of tile, 1 172 boxes of bone and small fragments of pottery, and a few small flakes of bronze.  Among the latter was find number 2, a small bronze tube.  Also, there seemed to be a concentration of redware and orangeware in H-I/42.
