Work continued in clearing and further defining the plaster lining of the forno. The line of plaster along the western side fo the forno was found to curve and continue along the forno's northern side. Additional traces of plaster were also found further to the east. It is possible therefore that the outer line of plaster may have at least encircled the forno's wester, eastern, and southern sides. However, further clearing
will be necessary to confirm the extent of the plaster lining. In addition, it should also be noted that scraping of the trench floor has of yet revealed no definite traces of the lining around the forno's northern side.
Clearing of teh ca. 20 cm strip along the northern quarter of meters H-I/13 also continued to a depth of ca. 101 cm. At a depth of ca. 98 cm all but the easternmost edge of meter H/13 turned to galestra. The soil in meter I/13, however, remained dark brown in color
and contained a high concentration of both carbon and disintegrated yellow and red plaster. One quarter of a box of pottery, consisting principally of impasto sherds, and several pieces of bone were discovered in the dark brown soil. Almost all the pottery and bone was blackened from burning.
Clearing of the trench floor also continued in meters H/13-14 in an attempt to expose the continuation of the red burning "stain" discovered in the southeast corner of meter H/13 on Friday afternoon.
Although some patches of red "stained" soil were found, no definite traces of the extension of the red stain were found.

Work again continued in clearing and further defining the plaster lining around the forno in meters H-I/11-12. A few, additional pieces of plaster were exposed in the northeast corner of meter I/12. There now exists a gap of only ca. 14 cm in the lining around the forno's northern side. The soil along the interior edge of the plaster lining wark [sic!] dark brown in color and contained a high concentration of carbon. Further clearing around the interior of the
forno also revealed the existence of a cluster of plaster chunks near the center of the forno in meter I/12. These chunks may represent part of a lining of the floor of the forno. These plaster chunks appeared at a depth of ca. 75 cm.
Clearing also continued in meters I/13-14 in an attempt to expose more of the red stained soil found in this area. Beginning
at a depth of ca. 97 cm, more of the red stained soil was found extending along the western wedge of meters I/13-14. At the present time a band of red stained soil of ca. 72 cm in length and ca. 10 cm in width has been exposed. One quarter of a box of impasto pottery, including several burned pieces, was discovered in the area around the red stained soil.
