Work resumed in Rect. 2 with a cut 3 m long, 3-5 and 2 m wide, A-B. Wet soil forced us to abandon today's digging after two hours of work. Chunks of plaster were uncovered within a soil characterized by bits of carbon and bone. The only finds of the day included a pithos handle with impressed finger marks and a piece of incised fine ware. Some impasto rims and bases were also found.
